Terms of Sale

Webdesign - Deposits, all site designs remain the work of ABC Wizards Ltd until or unless all outstanding charges are settled. In some cases we may release the design template used for a fee, although the programming and template may be made for use only for this one website domain and not used for any other company or website without written approval. Once a deposit is paid and a design concept has been created no deposit will be refunded, and the design remains the property of ABC Wizards Ltd.  We reserve the rights to make claim for compensation should our design stylings, graphics or colours be used after a quotation is refused, but later is found to be by the prospective client by a third party.

Any purchase or upgrade of computers or technology remains the property of ABC Wizards until full payment is received for all goods and services to the client.

No guarantee is offered on a clients existing hardware if an upgrade is made or a new computer is supplied to the network, all data must be covered by a suitable backup solution and is the clients responsibility to maintain.

Client Data Policy

ABC Wizards Ltd make every possible effort to preserve the Client’s data and files, however it should be noted that there are NO GUARANTEES whatsoever that the Clients data and files will remain intact after the repairs or service.

IT IS THEREFORE THE CLIENT’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL THE DATA AND INFORMATION STORED ON THE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT REQUIRING REPAIRS OR SERVICE IS APPROPRIATELY BACKED UP TO OTHER STORAGE DEVICES PRIOR TO HANDING OVER FOR REPAIRS.

Charges will be incurred if ABC Wizards Ltd has to perform a lengthy backup procedure to protect the Clients own data in order to complete the repairs.

We cannot be held responsible for the following during the repairs:

Loss or corruption of data, files, information or records;

Any loss of business goodwill

Any losses attributed to the interruption to business activity while equipment is out of service for repairs

Failure by the Client to follow our reasonable recommendations, instructions and advice to back up data

Any losses you may suffer arising from failure to use anti-virus software

Any loss considered to be unforeseeable

Damage resulting from viruses or other malicious software that may have been transmitted during servicing or repairs and therefore escaped detection

Where a Backup service is installed, it is the clients responsibility to maintain and check that it is working.
